Job summary

Alpha Construction Ltd. is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of multiple contracts, ensuring forecast profitability and contractual compliance while maintaining outstanding client relationships.

You will lead and develop the Quantity Surveying team, provide commercial support to operational staff and oversee high-value projects to ensure consistency in commercial processes across the business.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Leadership and guidance to Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors
• Manage the commercial performance of multiple projects simultaneously
• Champion Alpha Construction Employee Culture and Values
• Foster strong client relationships and ensure procedures are followed across projects
• Review project performance, costs, risks and opportunities; respond to commercial risks
• Lead subcontract procurement and contract administration
• Provide commercial input on NEC3/NEC4 and JCT contracts and variations
• Maintain project cash flow forecasts and cost reporting
• Identify opportunities for additional works and support major tenders
