Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the Thames Water Framework project based at Mogden STW, Twickenham. The role involves leading commercial activities, managing subcontracts, and driving cost control to maximise project performance.

You will contribute to commercial strategy, develop team capabilities, and work within a high-performing environment on major water infrastructure works.

Qualifications

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Commercial Management or related discipline.
• Commercial experience within construction or infrastructure sectors, ideally MEICA exposure.
• Self-motivated, ambitious and eager to learn, develop and progress.

Responsibilities

• Leading commercial management of project sections, subcontract packages and supplier accounts from procurement to final account settlement.
• Preparing and managing valuations, applications for payment, monthly cost forecasts and cashflow reports.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring mitigation strategies are implemented.
• Managing change control processes and ensuring variations and contractual entitlements are agreed in a timely manner.
• Mentoring and developing junior team members, promoting high standards of commercial management and professional development.
