Job summary

Turner Lovell is recruiting a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on major power and infrastructure projects in the UK, valued at £50m+. You will work with the Power Operations team to protect profitability and guide project managers and senior stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has proven QS experience on large-scale infrastructure, strong NEC3/NEC4 knowledge, and robust forecasting/cash flow skills, with a Quantity Surveying degree and right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven QS experience on projects worth £50m+ within power, utilities or civil engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Experience managing cash flow and detailed financial forecasts.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
• Professional accreditation or progress towards chartership would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial activities, including cost control, valuations and cash flow management.
• Establish project budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Produce detailed forecasts and cost-to-complete assessments.
• Identify commercial risks and take action to protect margins.
• Communicate financial performance to project teams, senior management and external partners.
