Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Commercial Manager based at our Warwick office with flexible hybrid working. You will lead a team of Quantity Surveyors to maximise the commercial performance of the FEED Framework and deliver value across a portfolio of transmission infrastructure projects.

You will work within Portfolio Strategy and Development to ensure value for money for consumers while managing commercial risk and shaping contracts and relationships with internal and external stakeholders through

Qualifications

• LEADERSHIP Experience in commercial roles within major infrastructure projects.
• Experience with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts and FEED development.
• Strong stakeholder management and strategic thinking within regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish the Commercial capability within PS&D and form a new team.
• Lead commercial development from contract strategy to handover to delivery.
• Support FEED contract allocations with cost control and risk management.
• Manage FEED performance and drive portfolio-level strategic discussions.
• Provide regular FEED performance reporting to senior leaders.
• Build strong relationships with procurement, delivery and legal teams.
