Job summary

CRG TEC in Ipswich is seeking a Commercial Manager to establish and lead the commercial function. This is a greenfield role, not a replacement, with a chance to shape processes as the business moves from maintenance contracts to GBP1-3M HV infrastructure projects.

Experience in utilities, power, or major construction, NEC contracts preferred. Hybrid working, private healthcare, car allowance and discretionary bonus offered to support successful delivery and profitable projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC contracts.
• Ability to manage commercial risk, variations, claims and valuations to maximize project profitability.
• Support tender submissions, procurement and commercial strategy for HV projects.
• Develop commercial processes, controls and reporting within a growing function.
• Collaborate with Operations & Finance to drive delivery and financial performance.
• Shape the future commercial structure to support business growth.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and manage NEC contracts from tender to project completion.
• Manage commercial risk, variations, claims and valuations for profitability.
• Support tender submissions, procurement and commercial strategy across HV projects.
• Develop commercial processes, controls and reporting as the function grows.
• Work with Operations & Finance to drive delivery and financial performance.
• Shape the future commercial structure to support company growth.
