Job summary

KAEFER UK & Ireland is seeking a Package Manager – Coatings for Hinkley Point C on a full-time, permanent basis. You will lead coatings work packages, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence while maintaining strong client relationships and driving improvement.

You will bring deep coatings project experience, commercial awareness, and leadership to guide teams through complex multi-contractor environments across industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing coatings projects or work packages in industrial services, construction, energy, or related sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of coatings and surface protection activities and industry standards.
• Demonstrable project management experience with programme delivery, commercial performance and stakeholder management.
• Strong commercial awareness including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, valuations and change management.
• Experience in client-led project environments and managing multiple contractor interfaces.
• Understanding of project controls, risk management and performance reporting.
• Strong leadership skills with team development in operational environments.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience driving continuous improvement and LEAN principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe, efficient and successful delivery of allocated coatings work packages on time and within budget.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted partner throughout project delivery.
• Drive planning, coordination and execution to achieve programme commitments and manage risks.
• Collaborate with operations, commercial and support teams to optimise resources and deliver commercial objectives.
• Monitor progress, costs and change events with accurate reporting and forecasting.
• Champion continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Provide visible leadership to project teams and support development and engagement.
• Promote highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance.
