Job summary

Weavers Academy is seeking a Lead Coach to run its Holiday, Activities and Food programme during Easter, Summer and Winter breaks. You will coach activities for children aged 4–16 with on-site assistants to support you.

Responsibilities include timely site arrival, accurate registers, safeguarding training, supervising all children, and daily reviews to the Regional Lead. A professional, punctual and inclusive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Coaching children aged 4–16 years old in planned activities such as Arts & Crafts and Physical Activity.
• Punctual site arrival (15 minutes in advance).
• Maintain accurate registers and safeguarding (training provided).
• Supervise all children during activities, breaks and lunch.
• Provide daily reviews to the Regional Lead.
• Maintain professional, punctual, organized standards and high expectations.
• Promote inclusion and adaptability.

Job description

Join our enthusiastic team throughout the school holiday periods (Easter, Summer & Winter) at Weavers Academy. Coaching our Multi-Sport and Creative Activities course through the Holiday, Activities and Food programme, funded by the Department of Education.

A Lead Coach would be responsible for leading the holiday camp and coaching our planned activities to children ages 4 - 16 years old, with assistance from the onsite assistant coaches. Activities follow planned daily structure provided in advance of the holiday programme start date.
