Job summary

The Ferrers School invites applications for a Lead Coach to run our holiday camps during Easter, Summer and Winter. You will coach Multi-Sport and Creative Activities for children aged 4 to 16, with support from onsite assistant coaches.

You will implement the planned daily structure, ensure punctual arrival, complete registers, and prioritise safeguarding. The role requires a professional, organised approach and a commitment to inclusion and a positive, energetic coaching style.

Responsibilities

• Coaching planned activities to children aged 4-16 years through Arts & Crafts and Physical Activity.
• Ensure arrival to site in a timely prompt manner (15 minutes in advance).
• Ensure registers are completed in a timely manner.
• Safeguarding of children (training will be provided).
• Ensure all children are supervised at all times (activities, breaks & lunch).
• Provide a review to our Regional Lead following each day.
• Maintain a professional approach, being punctual, organised and setting high expectations for children attending.
• Promote an ethos of inclusion and adaptability.

Join our enthusiastic team throughout the school holiday periods (Easter, Summer & Winter) at The Ferrers School. Coaching our Multi-Sport and Creative Activities course through the Holiday, Activities and Food programme, funded by the Department of Education.
