Job summary

MACCA Sports Academies Limited is seeking a dedicated coach to run our Holiday, Activities and Food programme at Weavers Academy Leisure Centre during Easter, Summer and Winter holidays.

You will coach activities to children aged 4-16, ensure timely arrival, complete registers, uphold safeguarding with training provided, supervise all activities, and promote inclusive, high-expectation attitudes aligned with BeYou, BeKind, and BeGreat values.

Qualifications

• Coaching children aged 4–16 in Arts & Crafts and Physical Activity.
• Safeguarding training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Coaching planned activities to children aged 4 - 16 years old.
• Ensure arrival to site 15 minutes in advance.
• Ensure registers are completed in a timely manner.
• Safeguarding of children (training will be provided).
• Ensure all children are supervised at all times during activities, breaks and lunch.
• Maintain a professional approach, being punctual and organised.
• Promote an ethos of inclusion and adaptability.
• Promote BeYou, BeKind & BeGreat values.

Join our enthusiastic team throughout the school holiday periods (Easter, Summer & Winter) at Weavers Academy Leisure Centre. Coaching our Multi-Sport and Creative Activities course through the Holiday, Activities and Food programme, funded by the Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Coaching planned activities to children aged 4 - 16 years old, through Arts & Crafts and Physical Activity.
• Ensure arrival to site in a timely prompt manner (15 minutes in advance).
• Ensure registers are completed in a timely manner.
• Safeguarding of children (training will be provided).
• Ensure all children are supervised at all times (activities, breaks & lunch).
• Maintain a professional approach, being punctual, organised and setting high expectations for children attending.
• Promote an ethos of inclusion and adaptability.
• Promote our values of BeYou, BeKind & BeGreat.
