Job summary

Six Ventures Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks a Technical Production Supervisor to lead the Lathe Area within a busy 24/7 machining environment. You will drive technical excellence and implement process improvements to support high-volume production.

You will oversee CNC machining, multi-spindle lathes, and related equipment, troubleshoot issues, mentor the Lathe team, and collaborate with Production Control to ensure targets are met and quality kept high.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical manufacturing with strong machining knowledge.
• Ability to lead from the front in a high-pressure environment.
• Previous CNC machining experience (multi-spindle lathes) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all technical aspects of the Lathe Area, including machinery and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve component machining issues with the Lathe team.
• Motivate the team and meet output targets in collaboration with Production Supervisor.
• Deliver technical training and support to Lathe Area staff.
• Coordinate with Production Control to plan departmental requirements.
