Job summary
DVSA is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect for an Apprenticeship role. You will contribute to architectural governance and lead cloud-based digital services, providing technical guidance to ensure cost-effective solutions.
You will collaborate with enterprise IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust architectures, aligning with enterprise principles and reducing TCO. This apprenticeship offers flexible working options and strong pension benefits.
Qualifications
- Expertise in a digital/IT architecture role with stakeholder collaboration.
- Alignment of designs with Enterprise Architecture principles and guidelines.
- Experience in transformation initiatives using AWS and/or Azure cloud ecosystems.
- Familiar with TOGAF and Zachman frameworks and ITIL practices.
- Proficient with modelling notations Archimate, UML, and BPMN.
Responsibilities
- Work within Enterprise Architecture to reduce technical debt and TCO.
- Provide technical and advisory support, solutioning and oversight for business objectives.
- Create and maintain as-is, transition and to-be solution architectures.
- Translate business problems into solution architectures with stakeholders.
- Support architecture governance frameworks and strategic digital solutions.
