Job summary

DVSA is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect to drive cloud-based digital services and enterprise architecture strategy across UK functions. You will shape as-is and to-be architectures, align with DVSA principles, and provide technical leadership for cost-effective solutions.

The role emphasizes governance, collaboration with stakeholders, and delivering value through modern cloud solutions within a flexible working pattern.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated digital/IT architecture expertise with stakeholder collaboration.
• Proven ability to align designs with enterprise architecture principles and guidelines.
• Hands-on experience in transformation initiatives using AWS and/or Azure; integrate multiple cloud services.
• Familiar with TOGAF and/or Zachman, ITIL, Archimate, UML or BPMN modelling.

Responsibilities

• Work within DVSA’s Enterprise Architecture practice to reduce technical debt and TCO.
• Architect cloud-based digital services and provide technical advisory and oversight.
• Create and maintain as-is, transition and to-be architectures for designated business capabilities.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate problems into solution designs.
• Support architecture governance to align digital solutions with enterprise principles.
