Job summary

DVSA is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect to shape cloud-based digital services within its Enterprise Architecture practice. You will drive technical advisory, solutioning and oversight to ensure business objectives are met cost-effectively, reducing technical debt and improving customer and colleague services.

Reporting to the Lead Technical Architect, you will create and maintain as-is, transition and to-be architectures, collaborating with stakeholders to translate needs into designs aligned

Qualifications

• Experience in a digital/IT architecture role with stakeholder collaboration.
• Ability to translate business requirements into tangible solution designs.
• Proven track record of aligning designs with Enterprise Architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud ecosystems.
• Familiar with TOGAF or Zachman; aware of ITIL, Archimate, UML and BPMN.

Responsibilities

• Work within DVSA’s Enterprise Architecture practice to reduce technical debt and TCO while improving services.
• Architect cloud-based digital services and provide technical advisory and oversight.
• Create and maintain as-is, transition and to-be solution architectures.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate problems into designs.
• Support architecture governance and ensure value for money and alignment with DVSA standards.
