Job summary

DVSA is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect for an Apprenticeship to drive cloud-based digital service architectures across multiple locations including Nottingham. You will shape as-is and to-be architectures, oversee solution design and align with enterprise principles while delivering value for money.

Reporting to the Lead Technical Architect, you will reduce technical debt, improve customer and colleague services, and support cost-effective outcomes.

Qualifications

Demonstrated digital/IT architecture experience with stakeholder collaboration.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles.
Hands-on in transformation initiatives using AWS/Azure cloud ecosystems.
Familiar with TOGAF/Zachman and modelling notations (Archimate, UML, BPMN).

Responsibilities

Work in Enterprise Architecture to reduce debt, improve services and lower TCO.
Architect cloud-based digital services and provide technical advisory support.
Create/maintain as-is, transition and to-be architectures for DVSA business needs.
Translate business problems into solution designs and govern architectural deliverables.
