Job description

Lead Clinician Specialist / Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist, Epsom

This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a supportive clinical team at Skylarks School in Surrey, with the possibility of participating in a 4-day workweek trial, promoting better work/life balance.

Key Details
  • Location: Skylarks School, Surrey, KT18 7LR
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • Contract: Permanent, Term Time only (potential for full-year contract)
About the Role

The Lead Clinician will manage the in-house Clinical Team, provide clinical leadership, and hold a therapy caseload. The role involves working with pupils with complex needs, including autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, and SEMH needs. Responsibilities include assessment, intervention, staff training, and supervision, with additional OT support for other OFG schools in Surrey.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current HCPC registration and RCOT/RCSLT membership
  • Experience working with autistic individuals and complex needs
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Experience supervising therapy teams
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
