Job Title: Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist

Location: Hillingdon Manor School – Middlesex, UB8 3HD

Salary: Up to £53,200 (pro rata, DOE) plus £3000 Welcome Bonus. The Welcome Bonus is payable as one payment of £1,500 after one month and another £1,500 after your final probation period. Terms & Conditions apply.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only (41 weeks). There may be scope for a full-year contract (52 weeks); please contact us to discuss.

Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle required

We support your Continued Professional Development with a £2,000 training allowance to complete role-specific training tailored to your needs.

About the role

We seek an experienced Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our expanding team. You will contribute to bespoke assessment and intervention plans for individuals with complex needs, including autism, trauma, and developmental challenges, using a systemic and formulation-based approach.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team including Speech and Language Therapists, Psychotherapists, and other professionals, providing holistic care, education, and clinical services.

We value practitioners with a clear vision for outstanding therapeutic services, driven, resilient, and capable of working within multidisciplinary teams.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification
  • Registered with HCPC
  • Awareness of Sensory Integration or Sensory Regulation approaches
  • Experience working with multiple teams and complex cases
  • Experience with adults and/or children with intellectual disabilities/autism and additional needs
  • Ability to collaborate with key partners
  • Sensitivity and conflict resolution skills
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Post-qualification experience with adults
  • Experience in lecturing/training
  • Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
  • Skills in data management and analysis
