Job Title: Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist

Location: Oak Tree School, Red Moor School and Copper Fields School, Cornwall

Salary: Up to £53,200 (pro rata, DOE) plus £3000 Welcome Bonus (payable as one payment of £1,500 after one month and another of £1,500 upon final probation; T&Cs apply)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time plus 2 weeks (46.6 weeks). There may be scope for a full-year (52 weeks) contract; please contact us to discuss.

Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle

We’re seeking an experienced, Sensory Integration trained, Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our expanding team. You will contribute to bespoke assessment and intervention plans, primarily supporting children with Section F provision, Ayres Sensory Integration, in their Education, Health and Care Plans.

About the role

Are you an experienced Sensory Integration trained, Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist excited to work during times of transformative change? Do you have experience or interest in working with neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD), complex trauma, and other complex needs? If so, this is your opportunity!

The post involves delivering OT-specific therapeutic services, including Ayres Sensory Integration, within a systemic and formulation-based approach, supporting children with autism, trauma, and complex needs.

You will be part of multidisciplinary teams across three schools, including Speech and Language Therapists, Psychotherapists, and other professionals, providing holistic care, education, and clinical services.

We seek a practitioner with a clear vision of outstanding therapeutic services, drive, motivation, resilience, and teamwork skills.

  • Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification
