  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
  • Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks

About the Role:

We are seeking a Lead Clinician - Highly Specialist OT, SALT to manage our in-house Clinical Team at Oakfield House School in the North West. The role involves clinical leadership and managing a therapy caseload, working collaboratively with senior staff and the Locality Clinical Lead. Responsibilities include line management of the clinical team, delivering assessment and intervention plans for students with complex needs, and contributing to staff training and consultation.

The role requires a resilient, enthusiastic individual with a therapeutic approach, decision-making skills, and the ability to manage workload and supervise others. The postholder will support the integration of clinical services, deliver wellbeing and clinical strategies, and promote a nurturing, safeguarding environment aligned with EHCP requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Degree in Speech & Language Therapy or registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC
  • Professional registration with HCPC, RCOT, RCSLT
  • Experience working with autistic individuals and those with complex needs, minimum 3 years
  • Experience in supervision and supporting therapy teams
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
