Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to independently manage diagnostic pathways for patients with non-specific symptoms that may indicate cancer. You will coordinate investigations, lead multidisciplinary collaboration, and aim to confirm or exclude cancer within 28 days of referral.

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice MSc or working towards one
• Completed and passed a physical assessment course, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Independently manage patients through the diagnostic pathway with support from RDC GP and MDT
• Deliver holistic assessment and coordinate complex investigations for patients with non-specific symptoms that may indicate cancer
• Aim to confirm or exclude a cancer diagnosis as quickly as possible, ideally within 28 days of referral
• Ensure timely investigation, diagnosis, communication of results and onward referral to appropriate specialty
• Work closely with primary care, cancer services and specialist teams
• Provide operational and professional leadership to the RDC and Acute Oncology Service teams
• Support service development, workforce management and quality improvement
• Deliver high standards of patient care
