Northern Health and Social Care Trust in Whiteabbey Hospital is seeking a Nurse Lead for the Rapid Diagnosis Centre (Band 7). You will lead RDC nursing staff, triage referrals, and help shape the vague symptom pathway to support rapid cancer diagnosis.

The role requires extensive clinical expertise, leadership within a multidisciplinary team, and the ability to develop and monitor pathways and protocols in line with national and local guidelines.

Formación

• Delivery of person-centred care for people with cancer or other complex conditions.
• Ability to lead and manage RDC nursing staff and collaborate with the MDT.
• Sound knowledge of diagnostic pathways and referral processes across primary and secondary care.

Responsabilidades

• Lead nursing component of the Rapid Diagnosis Centre.
• Triaging referrals according to the vague symptom pathway.
• Provide expert clinical guidance and coordinate onward referrals.
