Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Principal C&S lead based in the UK, preferably Leicester, to drive civil and structural design delivery across earthworks, piping supports, drainage, and foundations. The role requires coordination with CAD teams and close client engagement to manage scope, budget, and schedule.

You will contribute to bid activities and ongoing professional development, with travel within the UK and abroad as needed. A Chartered membership and Eurocodes expertise are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Chartered Membership of a professional institution desirable or essential depending on level.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and manage day-to-day operations across civil and structural design tasks.
• Coordinate delivery of project tasks in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Instruct CAD designers and engineers on C&S design and provide specialist guidance to clients.
• Attend design meetings and site visits and support bid preparations.
• Identify business development opportunities and support risk and safety standards.
