Job summary

VINCI’s Omexom division seeks a Senior CAD Technician to lead civil and structural CAD delivery, coordinating multi-disciplinary outputs to align with project budgets, schedules and quality requirements.

You will mentor junior staff, maintain CAD standards, and ensure compliance with UK regulations while collaborating with Engineers across disciplines to convert concepts into construction-ready drawings.

Qualifications

Proven experience as Senior CAD Technician in civil/structural fields.
5–8 years producing general arrangements and details for buildings, foundations and roads.
High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Experience with BIM environments and model-based design.

Responsibilities

Produce, manage, and coordinate CAD designs to project specifications, industry standards, and Omexom procedures.
Act as Lead CAD Technician on allocated projects, coordinating drawing production and issue registers to meet milestones.
Develop Civil layouts, general arrangements, and detailed construction drawings from concepts and calculations.
Liaise with Engineers and other discipline teams to ensure fully coordinated, compliant designs.
Ensure CAD outputs meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements with self-checks and peer reviews.
Mentor junior CAD technicians, graduates, and trainees where required.
Manage CAD standards, layering conventions, drawing templates, and document control processes.
