Job summary

Omexom - Design, part of the VINCI group, is seeking a Principal Design Engineer in London to lead and deliver complex infrastructure design projects. You will oversee design teams, ensure compliance with CDM 2015, and coordinate with principal designers, site teams, and external consultants to meet safety, cost, and programme targets.

The role requires deep knowledge of British standards, Eurocodes, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is essential.
• Experience as Lead Designer or Principal Designer under CDM 2015.
• Knowledge of industry standards and Eurocodes.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of a design team.
• Check and review design deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Lead multi-disciplinary design projects to cost, schedule and quality targets.
• Collaborate with engineers and external consultants across disciplines.
• Support tendering and business development activities.
