Avove is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to lead the UK Design team, based in Brighouse or with suitable regional commuting. The role focuses on delivering large, complex projects with strong technical leadership and mentorship for junior staff.

You will drive high-quality design solutions from concept through delivery, ensuring projects meet programme, budget, and client requirements while promoting safety and best practice.

Qualifications

• Strong technical experience in the design of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Experience across civil, MEICA and process disciplines welcome.
• Proficient in MS Office and producing clear technical reports.

• Develop and deliver innovative, cost-effective design solutions meeting requirements.
• Lead and mentor engineering team members across levels.
