Sweco UK Limited seeks a Principal Civil Engineer in Ipswich to lead design delivery across multiple schemes within the @one Alliance. You’ll guide technical direction, coach junior engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and timely solutions that meet project budgets.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (or equivalent) required.
• Chartered or working towards chartered status preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities essential.

Responsibilities

• Check and review civil design deliverables to ensure processes are followed.
• Input into CDM and commissioning strategy meetings.
• Review CDM deliverables for projects and maintain portfolio technical awareness.
• Help establish technical common standards across the alliance.
• Implement new digital technologies for fully attributed 3D models.
• Provide guidance and support to engineers.
