Job summary

Qualifications

• Solid infrastructure design background, ideally UK consultancy.
• Experience delivering highways and drainage for residential/mixed-use.
• Strong knowledge of foul and surface water drainage, SuDS.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, FLOW, Vehicle Tracking.
• Familiarity with CIRIA SuDS Manual, Sewers for Adoption guidance.
• Excellent communication and client liaison skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Commercial mindset with budgeting and resource planning.
• Mentoring junior engineers or leading small teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and coordination of highways, drainage and external works for residential developments.
• Design SuDS, road layouts, access arrangements, earthworks and infrastructure.
• Manage technical submissions and liaise with authorities and water companies.
• Prepare and review drawings, reports, specs and design docs.
• Support delivery of Section 38, 278, 104 and 106 agreements.
• Attend meetings and site visits, providing technical advice.
• Manage programmes, budgets and resources.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Develop strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business.
