Job summary

Our client, a private residential housebuilder, seeks a Civil Engineering Manager to lead in-house civil engineering across land acquisition, planning, and construction. You will assess risks, influence design solutions and ensure cost-effective, deliverable infrastructure for multiple developments.

As the principal civil engineering specialist, you will coordinate with Land, Planning, Technical, Commercial and Construction teams, manage consultants, and drive continuous improvement and value

Qualifications

• Our client is a design-led, quality-driven business in residential development.
• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering; proven residential project delivery experience.
• Experience coordinating utilities, drainage, highways and earthworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering input across land acquisitions and planning.
• Oversee highway designs, drainage and earthworks strategies.
• Manage external consultants and budgets for civil packages.
• Support construction with engineering solutions and site inspections.
• Drive value engineering and risk management across developments.
