Brandon James in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to lead a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial developments, delivering high-quality civil designs and coordinating with clients and authorities.

You will mentor junior engineers, oversee drainage and highways schemes, and ensure compliance with UK standards. Chartered status would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' post-qualification experience in UK civil engineering design.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in FLOW drainage modelling and Civil 3D is essential.
• Strong experience delivering UK civil engineering infrastructure designs, including drainage and highways.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.
• Produce and review drainage strategies, external works designs and highways layouts.
• Undertake detailed drainage modelling using FLOW software.
• Utilise Civil 3D to develop and coordinate engineering designs.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities and other design professionals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Ensure projects are delivered to relevant UK design standards, regulations and deadlines.
