Job summary

MacIntyre in Wingrave is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to supervise a small team caring for 10 children with learning disabilities/autism in a residential home. You will guide staff, support families and collaborate with social workers to ensure tailored support plans.

We offer a full-time role with varied shifts, development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. You must have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare and be a driver with your own transport.

Qualifications

• You will have experience of supporting vulnerable people, ideally those with a learning disability.
• You will have managed a team and hold at least a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
• You’ll be creative in your thinking and your approach to staff, the people we support and their families.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a small, close-knit team supporting 10 children in a residential setting.
• Provide guidance, mentoring and practical support to staff across shifts.
• Work with families, social workers and other professionals to reflect each young person’s needs.
• Promote dignity, choice and independence in daily life and personal care.
• Travel between services in the area and attend meetings and training.
