Job summary

MacIntyre School in Wingrave (Buckinghamshire) is seeking a resilient teacher with QTS to educate learners aged 10–19 with complex needs. The role involves delivering an individualized curriculum in a 41-week residential/day setting and leading a small team of LSAs.

You will work with on-site therapists and families to support personal progress and well-being, in a community-focused approach to education and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised post-16 teaching qualification.
• Ability to plan, deliver and monitor engaging curriculum.
• Experience leading and motivating support staff in a classroom.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a creative, non-subject-specific curriculum using engaging facilities.
• Collaborate with on-site therapists and families to support each learner.
• Lead and mentor a small team of LSAs to create a calm, purposeful classroom.
