Job summary

Levy UK & Ireland is seeking a Lead Chef to support the Head Chef across The Ovo Hydro and SEC Campus. You will lead kitchen operations, mentor chefs and ensure top-quality meals, with a focus on safety, cost control and innovation.

The role offers healthcare, generous leave, life assurance, meals on duty and more. The successful candidate will oversee menu development, staff training and collaboration with nutritionists to meet athletes’ needs and client expectations, while driving

Qualifications

• Extensive senior culinary experience in stadia, hotels, or high-performance settings.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and manage kitchen teams.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Menu Planning and development with the head chef.
• Oversee preparation and cooking to meet high quality and presentation standards.
• Lead and mentor kitchen staff, supervising training and methods.
• Control food costs and contribute to budgeting and stock management.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and hygiene across the kitchen.
• Support event catering and collaboration with nutritionists.
