Job summary

The JobsBoard is recruiting a Chef De Partie for a well-established hotel in the Maidstone area. You will work closely with the Head Chef to maintain high standards of food quality, service and hygiene in a busy kitchen.

This hands-on role requires leadership, teamwork and calmness under pressure, with shifts typically 13:00–22:00 and occasional breakfast lines. Driving is essential due to location.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Chef in a professional environment.
• Experience in a branded hotel, restaurant or high-volume setting.
• Solid knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Support the kitchen brigade and lead by example.
• Roster shifts: typically 13:00–22:00 with occasional breakfast lines.
