Job summary

Urenco is seeking a Principal Control & Instrumentation Engineer to lead a team of C&I engineers at Capenhurst/Birchwood. You will oversee FEED packages, ensure designs meet Urenco standards and customer requirements, and guide suppliers to deliver safe, compliant instrumentation solutions.

You will mentor engineers, support project delivery across major capital programmes, and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Degree in Control & Instrumentation or related engineering field.
• Professional accreditation or related specialist training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering Delivery for FEED and design activities.
• Support project delivery through detailed design and supplier outputs.
• Develop technical capability and mentor engineers.
• Drive quality, safety and regulatory compliance across projects.
