Job summary

WSP in Leeds is seeking an Associate to join the Building Structures team. You will be responsible for project management, technical leadership and delivering schemes from inception to handover.

This role offers exposure to high-profile UK and international projects across sectors, mentoring junior staff, coordinating with architects and engineers, and contributing to sustainable design and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering large-scale structural projects.
• Experience with concept through to construction phases.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in managing project budgets and timelines.
• Chartered status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design delivery and technical coordination across disciplines.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications.
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical work.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with national codes and standards.
