Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Associate to join the Building Structures team in London. Based at our London Westferry office, you will lead project management, technical leadership and delivery from inception to handover on challenging schemes with international reach.

You will oversee design delivery across high-rise, stadia, healthcare and mixed-use projects, while mentoring junior engineers and supporting Chartership progress in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Chartered MIStructE / MICE.
• Solid experience in structural engineering design in all materials.
• Detailed working knowledge of national codes and standards.
• Experience with ETABS, RAM Structural System, Tekla Structural Designer & Tedds.
• Experience using Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and sustainable designs from concept for UK and international multi-disciplinary projects.
• Lead technical delivery on multi-disciplinary projects from concept through detailed design.
• Participate or lead tender bids and business development opportunities.
• Manage fee agreements and the commercial position on projects.
• Mentor and develop junior team members toward Chartership.
