Job summary

WSP’s Building Structures team in London seeks an Associate to lead project management, technical leadership and delivery from inception through handover. Based at our London Westferry office, you will work on high-profile UK and international schemes with architects, engineers and specialists.

You will mentor juniors, support Chartership, and contribute to fee negotiations while guiding teams to deliver innovative, sustainable structural solutions across sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering design on major projects.
• Project management and technical delivery leadership on medium to large schemes.
• Strong communication with clients and stakeholders; ability to explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead design delivery from inception to handover on multi-disciplinary schemes.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate with architects and engineers.
• Mentor junior team members and support Chartership pathways.
• Engage in fee discussions and project commercial management.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to resolve issues.
