Job summary

Aviva seeks a Lead BI Developer to shape data-driven decisions for the Personal Lines business in Norwich or Leeds. You will lead BI dashboard development, drive data quality, and support governance while transitioning to a cloud-based BI platform.

You will partner with stakeholders to deliver trusted insights using Power BI, Qlik Sense, SQL and Snowflake, influencing business outcomes and customer value while mentoring colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and delivering BI dashboards and reporting solutions within a complex data environment.
• Strong SQL skills, with experience transforming, analysing and interpreting data to generate meaningful insights.
• Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks, ensuring data is trusted, accurate and fit for purpose.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and work effectively in Agile teams.
• Experience with Qlik Sense, Power BI and Snowflake would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Understand data and insight needs across the Personal Lines business and prioritise improvements that deliver the greatest value.
• Design, build and enhance self-service dashboards and reporting using SQL and Snowflake, with Qlik Sense and Power BI.
• Champion best practice in reporting, governance, documentation and dashboard design.
• Support the transition to our cloud-based BI platform and contribute to the future direction of BI.
