Job summary

Enfield Council is seeking an experienced Best Start Inclusion Practice Manager to lead a new Best Start Inclusion offer, ensuring SEND children receive timely support. You will manage a team of Practitioners, driving high-quality, evidence-informed practice across Family Hubs, early years settings, homes and outreach services.

You will shape the service to promote early identification, strengthen inclusion, and improve outcomes for children and families in Enfield, working within Education

Qualifications

• You will be a confident and inspiring leader with substantial SEND experience and knowledge of early years inclusion.
• Experience leading teams, supervising practitioners and driving service improvement is essential.
• Strong communication, safeguarding awareness and data/quality assurance skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Best Start Inclusion offer across Family Hubs, early years settings and community outreach.
• Drive high-quality, evidence-informed practice and early identification of SEND.
• Collaborate with health, education and social care to improve outcomes for children and families.
