Job summary

London Borough of Barking and Dagenham is seeking an experienced Best Start Inclusion and SEND Development Manager to lead the borough-wide inclusion and SEND offer for children aged 0 to 5, aligning services with Start for Life and SEND reform.

You will provide strategic and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team, build strong partnerships with health, early years, education and the voluntary sector, and ensure safeguarding, data governance and equitable outcomes for families.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of borough-wide inclusion and SEND offer for babies and children aged 0 to 5.
• Line-manage Inclusion Practitioners and develop a high-quality inclusive service.
• Coordinate multi-agency activity and promote a no wrong door approach for families.
