Enterprise Mobility in Oldbury is seeking a Lead Automotive Technician/ Mechanic to supervise a flex team and drive high standards of servicing and maintenance. You will lead technicians, ensure safe workshop practices, and coordinate with Fleet Control to meet productivity targets.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in motor vehicle maintenance and supervisory experience, with a Full UK Driving Licence (Cat C). Excellent Excel skills and a commitment to a safety-first culture are essential.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (motor vehicle maintenance)
• Previous supervisory experience requested
• Full UK Driving Licence (Cat C)
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to pass security checks (criminality, financial, and employment references)

Mansioni

• Maintain workshop productivity to meet Enterprise Flex-E-Rent standards, coordinating with Fleet Control.
• Supervise technicians, conducting appraisals, training, competent person assessments and internal QA.
• Manage staff attendance, holiday scheduling and overtime authorisation.
• Ensure workshop activities comply with Health & Safety, environmental policies, risk assessments, SSOW, manual handling and COSHH.
• Achieve and uphold Competent Person status for you and the team, arranging required training.
• Oversee servicing, diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance and MOT prep for legislative compliance and vehicle safety.
• Support on-site customer servicing or repairs when required and document everything accurately.
• Monitor and manage stock levels with the parts supervisor following procedures.
