Job summary

Enterprise Holdings’ Enterprise Flex-E-Rent Derby workshop is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic to service rental vehicles and keep our fleet safe and reliable. You’ll perform maintenance, inspections and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards and documenting work in our systems.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance, experience with HGVs/LCVs and a full UK/Irish/EU driving licence; a competitive salary, overtime at 1.25x and clear career progression

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance
• Experience working with HGVs or LCVs
• A Full UK / Irish / EU Manual Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance tasks & servicing on Rental Vehicles.
• Test and check that systems and components are safe, secure and working properly.
• Identify and repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage.
• Test drive vehicles where permitted and correct driving license is held.
• Record work carried out on computer systems accordingly and accurately as you go, submitting paperwork to the Workshop Manager /Lead Tech at the end of each day/ shift.
• Complete jobs in full before the end of your shift or carry out job handover as required ensuring the vehicle is left in a safe condition with necessary safety signage present.
