Job summary

Elite Audit Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Internal Audit & Compliance Lead to join our client’s Birmingham team on a hybrid basis. You will plan and deliver a risk-prioritised internal audit programme across central functions and support regional/project audits where required.

Working closely with the Internal Audit & Compliance Manager, you will provide assurance on governance, process effectiveness and control design, helping embed best practice and drive continuous improvement across the

Qualifications

• Lead Auditor qualification is essential.
• Experience auditing in construction/engineering sectors.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards: ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO44001.
• Full driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the internal audit programme across business units and functions.
• Conduct effective audits covering project sites, offices and functions.
• Prepare reports, discuss corrective actions and follow up on NCRs.
• Collaborate with regional auditors and management to share themes and improvements.
• Support knowledge sharing and maintain audit methodology consistency.
