Job summary

Audit & Risk Recruitment is supporting a fast-growing professional services firm in Birmingham by recruiting a Senior Internal Auditor. You will deliver end-to-end audits for public sector clients, engaging stakeholders and mentoring junior team members in a collaborative, values-driven environment.

The role offers development opportunities within a dynamic Internal Audit team, with exposure to social housing, education or charities across the UK.

Qualifications

• 2 years of internal audit experience from the public sector.
• Track record of delivering full cycle audits independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Holding or working towards CIA or ACCA qualification.
• A genuine desire to do impactful work for the public and social sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with experience in the public and not-for-profit sectors, including social housing, education or charities, who are seeking to grow their careers in a firm that prioritises learning and development. You will be delivering impactful audits from day one and work across a range of purpose-driven organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Circa 2 years of internal audit experience from the public sector

• Hold or working towards either the CIA or ACCA qualification
• A genuine desire to do impactful work for the public and social sector
