Job summary

Pro-Recruitment Group is recruiting an Internal Audit Manager or Assistant Manager in Birmingham. The role covers audits across public sector, not-for-profit and corporate sectors, with hybrid working and clear progression opportunities.

You will lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, advise on risk and controls, and mentor junior staff while supporting growth in the West Midlands.

Qualifications

• CIA, ACA or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Previous Internal Audit experience.
• Experience managing clients across public sector, not-for-profit and corporate sectors.
• Strong knowledge of risk, controls and governance.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Leading, planning and delivering a broad range of Internal Audit engagements.
• Managing client relationships and ensuring high-quality service.
• Advising on risk, controls, governance and best practice.
• Coaching and mentoring junior team members.
• Contributing to business development and growth of Birmingham offering.
