Job summary

Amey Consulting is seeking a Principal Architect to lead multidisciplinary teams across the UK, coordinating across RIBA stages and ensuring high quality design and governance. The role involves people management, bid leadership, and close collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

You will bring ARB registration, RIBA charter, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and BIM. Hybrid working options across multiple regional offices are available.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with ARB and Chartered membership of RIBA are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-disciplinary leadership and coordination on projects through all RIBA Stages.
• Take ownership of and manage tasks from conception to completion.
• Prepare and check designs, calculations, drawings and documentation to meet quality, cost and programme criteria.
• Ensure governance processes are followed and have experience in technical assurance.
• Responsible for the commercial success of projects, including budgets and costs.
• Compile and present regular project portfolio reports to stakeholders.
• Liaise with client and Amey stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Lead and contribute to bids and the bid process with accountability to the bid director.
• Foster collaboration with account stakeholders and act as people manager as required.
