Job summary

Amey Consulting is looking for a Principal Architect to lead technical teams across UK rail and infrastructure projects. You will provide architecture oversight, design governance, and senior technical guidance from conception to delivery.

As a people manager when required, you’ll coordinate with clients and suppliers, oversee bids, and drive technical and commercial success within your portfolio. Hybrid working across multiple UK offices is supported, with a focus on high-quality, safe

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with ARB and chartered status (RIBA).
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations, Planning, Health & Safety and related legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-disciplinary leadership and coordination across RIBA Stages.
• Own and manage tasks from conception to completion with governance and quality checks.
• Lead bids and technical/ commercial offers under bid director supervision.
