Boeing in the United Kingdom is seeking an Airworthiness Engineer to lead commercial aircraft certification programmes within our EASA Modifications Integrated Project Team (IPT), driving safety, quality, and technical excellence.

You will collaborate with EASA, develop certification change classifications, and ensure comprehensive compliance documentation is prepared. Travel to customer sites may be required as part of project milestones.

Qualifikationen

• Aviation/aerospace industry experience with minimum 3 years within an EASA Part 21 Design environment.
• Working knowledge of EASA regulatory and airworthiness requirements including (E)TSO, CS-25, CFR Part 25 & EASA Part 21J design organisations.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Having right to work in the UK.
• High attention to detail and professional integrity.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to other cultures and styles of doing business.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage the route to certification, including the development of change classifications, certification programmes, and compliance checklists.
• Liaise with EASA on applications for STC / major design changes.
• Assist in development of best practice materials for the design organisation, including development and delivery of training.
• Monitor new regulations and GM issued by EASA.
• Ensure all design activities are within the terms of approval as specified in the design organisation approval certificate.
• Check compliance documents to demonstrate regulation compliance and for completeness.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions after audits or occurrences.
• Represent the Office of Airworthiness at milestone project meetings (ITCM, PDR, CDR).
• Occasional domestic and/or international travel may be required.
