Job summary

Boeing Commercial Aviation Services Europe Limited is seeking an Airworthiness Engineer (Certification) to lead certification programs for commercial aircraft modifications, drive safety and quality, and integrate changes across cabin interiors, IFE, and connectivity.

You will work within a multidisciplinary IPT to certify modifications and ensure compliance with EASA Part 21 requirements, in a hybrid role based in Frimley, UK.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
Aviation/aerospace industry experience with minimum 3 years in an EASA Part 21 Design environment.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken; rights to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the route to certification, including development of change classifications and certification programmes.
Liaise with EASA on applications for STC/major design changes.
Assist in development of best practice materials and training for the design organisation.
Monitor new regulations and ensure design activities stay within approval terms; perform root cause analysis when needed.
Represent the Office of Airworthiness at milestone project meetings and support Review Boards.
Travel may be required domestically or internationally.
