Job summary

Boeing Commercial Aviation Services Europe Limited invites a seasoned Airworthiness Engineer (Certification) to lead aircraft certification programs within the EASA context. You will drive safety, quality, and technical excellence across cabin interiors, IFE, connectivity, and emerging tech, coordinating with design teams and EASA.

You will develop certification schemes, oversee compliance, and mentor in-house teams, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• Aviation/aerospace experience with minimum 3 years in an EASA Part 21 Design environment.
• Working knowledge of EASA regulatory and airworthiness requirements (E/TSO, CS-25, CFR Part 25 & EASA Part 21J).
• Must be fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Right to work in the UK.
• High attention to detail and professional integrity.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the route to certification, including development of classification, certification programmes, and checklists.
• Liaise with EASA on applications for STC/major design changes.
• Develop best practice materials for design organisation and deliver training.
• Support Head of Design Organisation in monitoring regulations and ensuring design activities stay within approvals.
• Ensure correct classification of changes and repairs.
• Prepare compliance documents demonstrating regulatory compliance and completeness.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions after audits and incidents.
• Represent the Office of Airworthiness at milestone project meetings.
