Job summary

Zego is seeking a Lead AI Product Manager to own Telematics. You’ll own the telematics stack: SDKs capturing driving data, processing into trips and scores, and risk capabilities shaping pricing, risk management, and claims.

You’ll collaborate with Data Science, Pricing and Claims, define the 6–12 month direction, mentor Product Managers, and foster an experiment-first culture while building reusable AI playbooks and data assets.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading product strategy across multiple teams or domains.
• Built products on sensor or ML data and turned signals into decisions.
• Ability to engage engineers on SDKs, data and ML pipelines.
• Understanding of pricing, risk modelling and loss ratios with financial teams.
• Ability to interrogate model performance beyond dashboards.
• Experience building experiment cultures and rapid ownership.

Responsibilities

• Set 6–12 month Telematics strategy across the SDKs, data processing and Risk Management.
• Own data quality at the source with standards for trip recording and location accuracy.
• Own product side of scoring models with Data Science.
• Lead Risk Management decisions affecting pricing and interventions.
• Turn driving data into P&L impacts with Pricing, Underwriting, Claims.
• Embed rigorous experimentation as default operating rhythm.
• Build reusable AI playbooks and assets.
• Coach Product Managers across the organisation.
